Kuban&Salak are Polish structural engineering company located in Warsaw, Poland.

our goals

Kuban&Salak calculated how many structure squaremeeters do they design in a year. Basing on those calculations we were asked to write a realtime counter that would show the site visitor how many meters did they design untill the current moment.

The Flash script uses asynchronous request to ask local PHP file for a current progress and then animates it using the visitors' computer clock. The PHP file is used only as a reference to the server's timezone, so the output values won't differ between different website visitors.
